I’m speaking at WFX Atlanta!

I’ll be speaking at the WFX Conference this week in Atlanta. My session is tomorrow (Thursday) from 10:00am to 11:00am.

Here are the details:

The Church in Transition: Re-Inventing Ourselves for a New Generation

You are not alone. We blinked and the world around us changed. We haven’t lost our passion for souls or discipleship – far from it. The culture of the world around us has created marvelous new opportunities for ministry, and we are faced again with a new frontier. What now? How do we take what is precious from our heritage and position ourselves to deliver it effectively today and beyond? This session will help you wrap your thoughts around new strategies for ministry. You can do this! This session is led by Scott Allen, a pastor, blogger, Grammy award winning artist, creative leader and veteran of 30+ years in creative ministry. He is a returning member of our WFX teaching faculty.

Session highlights include: defining the playing field; addressing cultural gaps; re-packaging your timeless message without losing your core values; leveraging cutting-edge technology for ministry; mentoring and passing the baton to developing leaders; defining your legacy; Q & A session.

Schedule:
Thursday, September 20, 2012
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Location: A314
