December 18th is the day my life changed forever. You see, 27 years ago today, I married the most amazing woman on the planet – the love of my life. All of my days, I’ve never met anyone like her… beautiful, kind, caring, thoughtful, funny and silly all in one amazing person.
She inspires me.
We have a book that we keep handy around the house. It’s been a recurring theme for us since we were dating. Sure it’s a kid’s book, but it explains a lot…
If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it. You can order it here.
She does transitions better than anyone I’ve seen. Just when you think you’ve seen her best, she proves you wrong by outdoing herself. Great wife, then great wife and mother, then great wife and mother of teenagers… and on it goes.
I still don’t know why she would have agreed to join my creative circus, but I’m grateful every day that she did. She immediately brought stability and order to my world. I needed it. I’m an artist. I still need it. I’m an artist… a better artist because of her. She is also a great artist. She paints and inspires with words. She’s a great writer.
I am so blessed to share life with her. She continues to get more beautiful every year. And I become more thankful and grateful every year. She is God’s gift to me and I recognize it.
I love you, Debbie. You are the best. Happy Anniversary.
